Q. Who runs this Website?

A. Memphisloveskids.com was created by two sisters in 2005. Memphis Loves Kids is a true, homegrown Bluff City original, a grassroots community website.

Q. What geographical areas do you cover?

A. MemphisLovesKids.com covers the Greater Memphis Metropolitan Area, which includes all of Shelby County, as well as neighboring communities in Eastern Arkansas and Northern Mississippi. We also have many readers in Tipton and Fayette Counties in Tennessee.

Q. What about tourists? I'm planning to visit Memphis with my family.

A. Although Memphis is world-renowned for its Beale Street bars and late night blues clubs, the Bluff City has much to offer families. You'll find tons of information here. And if you don't find what you're looking for, feel free to send us an e-mail, and also check out the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau Website.

Q. I know of a great resource that's not listed on your site. How do I contact you?

A. E-mail us at contactus@memphisloveskids.com. We do our very best to respond to every e-mail we receive.

Q. How can I sign up for your newsletter?

A. Enter your e-mail address in the subscription box in the top right corner of our homepage to receive information regarding events, community news, giveaways and more. It's free, and Memphis Loves Kids will never share your personal information with outside parties.

Q. How can I get an event listed on your site?

A. Click on the mailbox on our homepage to submit your event.

How do I submit my kid's photograph for "Kid of the Week"?

A. E-mail a JPEG photo to contactus@memphisloveskids.com . Pics with parents, teachers and coaches are welcomed, too. Please include your child's first name, age and hometown.

Q. What is MLK-TV?

A. MLK-TV is the Memphis Loves Kids Channel, available on our Website and on YouTube. Hosted by our kid correspondent, Hannah, MLK-TV showcases news, events, places and activities of interest to children and families. Hannah has interviewed Shelby County Mayor A.C. Wharton, former Memphis Mayor and Children's Museum Director Dick Hackett, Memphis Mayor Pro Tem Myron Lowery, Memphis Wrestling Legend Jerry Lawler, Rapper Master P and others. Feel free to contact us if you have an idea for an MLK-TV segment.
