About Us

About Us

Founded in 2005, MemphisLovesKids.com is the Mid-South's very first comprehensive website for people with children in their lives.

Memphis Loves Kids is a one-stop shop for caretakers and educators. It's the premiere online resource for anything and everything kid-related in the Memphis Metropolitan area. Be sure to check out our FAQs page for additional information about this homegrown Memphis website.

Our Mission

To provide a positive, child-focused resource for residents, visitors and families relocating to the Greater Memphis Metropolitan area.

We commit to this mission by:

  • Embracing the diversity of our community by serving Mid-South families from all neighborhoods and walks of life.
  • Emphasizing all that's great about family life in the Mid-South.
  • Improving the quality of life for Mid-South families by connecting them with helpful resources.
  • Providing information for families on a budget. MemphisLovesKids.com was the first local site to offer a comprehensive kids eat free list and a list of free family activities. We also list information on government and non-profit programs for families in need, as well as no-cost programs for children with special needs.
  • Understanding that it takes a village. The name of our website reflects its focus on children. Parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles, big brothers and sisters, teachers, coaches, mentors and childcare providers - if you have a Mid-South child in your life, Memphis Loves Kids is here to serve you.
